Since June 1, 2004, the previously separate businesses of IMS Gear Cutting Tools GmbH and KOEPFER Verzahnungswerkzeuge GmbH have been combined. With the formation of IMS KOEPFER Cutting Tools GmbH, a new and stronger speciality company was created for the development and manufacture of the high-precision tools. The advantages of the bundling of know-how, experiences and capacities built up for decades are obvious: IMS KOEPFER Cutting Tools GmbH acts even more flexible and more innovative on the global market. Consequently the new business is more than the sum of both parts, it is in a clearly stronger market position and competitiveness -best prerequisites for sustainable growth and international presence.
